VINTAGE 2015
“Machine harvested, 25% whole berries retained when destemmed, fermented in tank, matured for 8-12 months with French oak staves. It has exceptional mouth feel for a wine elevaged entirely in tank, and way over delivers on varietal frui expression”
90 POINTS – James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion.

“This is soft and curranty with a gentle vanilla overlay. Notes of herbs and earth, even of tobacco, help to create an impression of complexity. Its pretty easy to drink”
Campbell Mattinson, Winefront.

Peppercorn, cloves and plenty of cherry-plum fruit flavour. Largely unencumbered by oak flavour, though according to the back label it was aged in both French and American”

Chardonnay is picked early to create a fresh and youthful wine style showing lemon, citrus aromatics and a nice light fruit driven finish. The wine is aged on yeast for up to 9 months prior to bottling; a fine elegant style with great mousse and a touch of dosage (sweetness) remains for balance.

Dining suggestions

Oysters and crustaceans

“The colour is light straw and there are crisp, clean aromas of candied pear, straw, hay and dried herbs. The taste is crisp and fresh but also soft, while the finish is refreshingly lively. It avoids obvious sweetness: the balance is superb. Great value for money.” Huon Hooke, The Real Review
